Kenny Chesney's new single, "Never Wanted Nothing More" suggests he's heading back to what he's best at: singing good Country songs.
It's a pleasant laid back track laden with superb acoustic and electric guitar solos, lyrics which mean something and superb vocals.
In recent years, Chesney's music lost direction, wandering aimlessly from beach-bum rock to pure pop and seldom even touching Country.
If this is representative of his new album, then we're in for a treat when it arrives this Fall.
Our view: Top three certainty - and it deserves it. Now, let's hope the album is as good.
