With Sammy playing some shows w/Kenny this summer, curious to know if anyone has this cd (or other Sammy cd's) and digs Sammy at all. I know he gives that "beach vibe" at his shows and in newer songs. The "Livin it Up" cd is pretty good (it has a spot in the rotation at my tiki bar), and includes a tune co-written w/ Kenny ("One Sip") and a cover of Toby Keith's "I Love this Bar" as well as other "tropical" tunes. I also liked Sammy's contributions to Van Hagar as well, should be fun this summer!

You won't be disappointed, Sammy gives a great show. He is a down to earth guy. One time I say him in 84 during the world series (Tigers!) he keep us up to date with the score during his concert (classy). Personally I think you'll like his earlier stuff. I LOVE Sammy, always have. No, I dont have his latest cd, but I do have most of his music including the days when he was with Van Halen. I just recorded a concert HDNet did and I play it all the time. He does put on an amazing show as I did see him in 84. One of my all times favorite songs of his is 3 lock box.
